K-6 Curriculum 

The K- 6 teaching and learning programs at Harrison are created using the Australian Curriculum (ACARA).  The Australian Curriculum, describes what students should learn as they progress through schooling. The curriculum sets out essential knowledge, understandings, skills and capabilities, providing a national standard for student achievement in core learning areas.

Core Learning Areas

Our teaching and learning programs at Harrison are designed to ensure that students’ learning is inclusive, and relevant to their experiences, abilities, and talents. Our staff work with students, families, and our community to assist students to develop as informed and active members of our multicultural society.

Enrichment Opportunities

Harrison School offers a number of enrichment activities to further engage and extend student interests. These opportunities include SRC, Robotics Club, Deadly Mob, Decathlon, Rostrum Public Speaking, Tournament of the Minds, ICAS, Choir, Ukulele, Sustainability, Chess, Performing Arts, Band, and Harrison School sporting carnivals and gala days.
